Security Officer – Full Time
The Main Street Shopping Complex, Paola, is currently looking to fill a position of a Full-Time Security Officer which will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, guests, and staff. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring CCTV systems, patrolling the premises, responding to emergency situations, maintaining security logs and records, checking the different services and equipment available at the complex, and liaising with other security personnel and suppliers as required.
Qualifications
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills
- Ability to interpret security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Assertiveness and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Previous security experience preferred
- Security certifications or training courses a plus
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
Candidates must have a valid work permit, already residing in Malta, and be available to work on weekends when required.
