Main Street Complex plc has just announced that Lindex, one of Europe’s leading fashion brands, is opening a new store at the shopping complex. The store, which spreads on two floors with a total area of 561 square meters, will be one of the largest fashion stores in the south of Malta offering the latest trends in retail fashion for both women and children.
The new Lindex store, which is scheduled to open in Spring 2022, will present a modern shopping environment reflecting the brand’s heritage and sustainability mindset. The store’s interiors will be designed using sustainable material to reaffirm the brand’s commitment towards a cleaner environment. A range of garments offered by the brand are designed to make use of recycled material, a step which led to Lindex winning one of the most prestigious sustainable awards in the fashion industry. Lindex are also committed to make a difference for future generations by empowering women, respecting the planet and ensuring human rights.
Lindex will complement the range of other retail stores available at Main Street, which attract thousands of shoppers on a weekly basis. Main Street’s Chief Executive Officer Bettina Azzopardi said that “we are excited to have an international brand such as Lindex opening a new store at Main Street. Despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic, we have consolidated our retail offering and will remain committed to reaffirm our position as a focal point for shopping in the south of Malta.”
Lindex is represented in Malta by its franchise partner John Manche, director of Unpaused Ltd, who brings all his retail experience into this new shopping experience. “After the opening of our first store in Malta, we experienced a strong interest for this fashion brand in the south, and we are now happy to finally announce the opening of our second store on the islands. The inspiring, affordable and more sustainable fashion feels right for the Maltese customer. During its 65-year story, Lindex has grown to reach over 460 stores in 18 markets. We are proud to represent them in Malta,” said John Manche.
